Winter Is Coming

Hi everyone! Sorry I've been a little distant recently - third year uni work is definitely piling up, and getting home between half past 4 and half past 7 every day means it's too dark to take photos! I also recently went to see Miranda Sings at Cambridge Corn Exchange (and met her!) and then Jamie T at Ally Pally, which were both amazing! I can talk more about those if anyone is interested. Anyway, onto today's outfit..

I almost squealed with excitement when I saw this beautiful skirt in Zara yesterday. It's the perfect winter skirt; a subtle yet intricate tapestry-esque pattern, made a lot more interesting by the black line through the centre. I actually thought it was a skort at first! It will go so well with pretty much any colour so I can't wait to pair it with a lot more pieces!

I was sure I had given this coat away years ago, but was pleasantly surprised when I found it in the wardrobe (yes, a wardrobe just for coats. Woops). I think it was the first ever thing I bought from Asos - probably around 4 years ago when I was still at school! Mad! I think I like it a lot more on me now than I did then, so I'm sure I'll get a lot more wear out of it now!

I've booked a little trip to Amsterdam next week with my boyfriend, which I am SO EXCITED about! If you've ever been and have any recommendations of places to go/eat/drink etc, I'd love to hear it! I know I want to go to the Van Gogh museum and possibly the ice bar, but let me know!
