August Favourites & Product Empties!

 photo DSC02138_zps39146248.jpg
I loved some of these products so much in August that I've actually already had to repurchase a couple of them! So, I thought I'd combine my August faves with my product empties to show you absolutely everything I've discovered and loved!

1. Aussie 3 Minute Miracle Shine Deep Treatment
 photo DSC02157_zps0b4bff8d.jpg
The concept of a three minute hair mask appealed to me immediately as I knew it'd be something I could apply and wash off whilst in the shower. I've never owned any ten minute masks because I don't like the thought of having to get out of the shower and go back to rinse it off... That might be strange, I'm not sure. Anyway, this is a really amazing product that I've been using pretty much every day since I got it. It leaves my hair soft, strong and revitalised. I have quite fine hair and do not find this conditioner to be heavy whatsoever, which means it also doesn't weigh it down! It also smells divine, so a win/win situation. I will definitely be repurchasing this.

2. Aussie Miracle Dry Shampoo Aussome Volume
 photo DSC02155_zpsa8afbcf3.jpg
As far as I'm aware, Aussie's dry shampoo offerings are pretty new. I saw it in Boots and thought I'd give it a go, and I'm SO glad I did. I've actually since repurchased one as I didn't want to be in a situation without any! Whether my hair is on its second day (which is obviously what it is designed for) or even newly washed, it gives me amazing volume and texture. I've tried many dry shampoos claiming to volumise, and this definitely comes out on top! I didn't love the scent at first, but I'm used to it now. It also makes me sneeze but I'm willing to overlook that for how good it makes my hair look *sighs*.

3. L'Oreal Studio Line Volume Supersizing Spray

I'm still not overly convinced by this product, but I used it all up in August so I thought I'd mention it. Honestly, there is in no way enough product inside to warrant the price-tag; it lasted me about ten days because you need a lot of it to make a little difference to your hair. Having said this, it compliments the Aussie Dry Shampoo and does give my hair a more textured look. I would repurchase this but I will be looking for a better alternative (suggestions please!)

4. Zara TRF Elastic Ankle Boot
 photo DSC02148_zps363b4ac0.jpg
I saw these online and ran to Zara as soon as I got the chance. How beautiful are they?! And for only £30 you can't go wrong. I can't wait to wear these more in the autumn, especially with black skinnies! They also some in plain black but I thought I'd opt for something a little different and I'm so glad I did!

5. MAC Matte Lipstick in 'Please Me'
 photo DSC02146_zps644ad50e.jpg
I bought this lipstick back in March but it's recently become a firm favourite again. When I first tried it on in the Mac store in Brent Cross, I was unsure of the shade for my complexion, but a girl nearby came over and complimented me on it so I knew I had to get it. I'm so glad I did, so thank you if you're ever reading this! (imagine haha!) I wouldn't call it a nude shade, but it is definitely a 'my lips but much-much-much better' kind of pinky colour. I also love that it's matte because it lasts a lot longer. Beautiful!

6. L'Oreal Elnett Satin Volume Styling Spray

You can probably sense a theme surrounding all my hair-care products; I need volume. Anything that claims to give volume, I'll try it. This does work, and it does give me a little more volume after drying, but I probably won't be repurchasing. Now that I've discovered the Aussie Dry Shampoo, I'll probably be sticking to that along with a volume mousse.

7. Una Brennan Super Facialist Tea Flower Deep Clean Mattifying Moisturiser
 photo DSC02142_zps3ef8b558.jpg
I looooove this stuff. I've been trying to savour it as my local boots recently stopped stocking Una Brennan (cries) but I just couldn't resist. A little goes a very very long way - I massively over-estimated myself on the first use and had to move it down to my neck and chest! It's so soothing, massively hydrating but very light. It also contains Salicylic Acid so it's great for keeping your skin spot-free, too. It's a great day-time moisturiser but since I was running low I've only been using it at night; my skin is super soft and clear in the mornings, and I'm sure it's because of this product. I'll have to order another one!

8. Bioderma Make-up Removing Micelle Solution for Sensitive Skin
 photo DSC02141_zps9c545745.jpg
I'm pretty sure everyone is aware of the huge hype surrounding Bioderma. I bought it whilst in a French Pharmacy in London (South Kensington! Post here) purely for the novelty of it, but it's actually the best make-up remover I have ever used. You might be able to see the tiniest bit left, which I really want to savour, but it's so damn good I just don't think I'll be able to. Can you tell I have no willpower? I never thought I'd be impressed by a product that takes make-up off but I seriously am. If you ever get the chance to buy this - do.

  3. Ooh, I didn't know Aussie did dry shampoo! I always use dry shampoo to add volume (even if it's my hair has just been washed) so this sounds absolutely perfect for me :) I'm always looking to add more volume too! I also love the 3 minute miracle conditioners, they smell gorgeous and work so well for the price.
